The Texoma Regional Police Academy (TRPA) at Grayson College offers a 21 week (830 hours) daytime program designed to prepare students for a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement. TRPA also offers a 44-week part-time evening academy class. Students are awarded 25 credit hours of college credit for the completion of the Police Academy program at Grayson College. The police academy is accredited by The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
Throughout the program, students will participate in classroom instruction and live training exercises. Individuals completing the day or night Academy and passing the TCOLE state-licensing exam are certified to seek employment in state and local law enforcement agencies, throughout Texas, as a full-time peace officer or reserve officer.
